Changes to INSET

Dear parent or carer,

A few weeks ago we informed parents about the postponement of our INSET day so that we could bring pupils back to school without further disruption.

We have now arranged our two remaining INSET days for

  • Monday 7th June
  • Friday 9th July

On these days, staff will be in school taking part in training.  Pupils will be at home and will not receive home learning activities.

Yours faithfully

R. Rees

Improving active travel in Neath Port Talbot

Neath Port Talbot County Council is working with Sustrans Cymru as part of Welsh Government’s public consultation to create an Active Travel Network Map for Neath Port Talbot. This will be the blueprint that Neath Port Talbot will use for deciding where improvements to walking and cycling should be made. Welsh Government guidance states that routes to schools must be a key part of these networks.

Pupils can share their thoughts on active travel infrastructure in your local area by using the easy online mapping tool. https://neathporttalbot.commonplace.is/

All Age Schools Survey

Our school is taking part in an ERASMUS+ research project conducted by Swansea University. The research is designed to understand the impact of an all age school setting on children’s wellbeing.

For the initial stage of the research we will be asking learners to fill in a short questionnaire which will take roughly 15 minutes to complete. They will be asked to do this using while they are at school

Full details in the attachment below.
If you do not want your child to take part in the survey, fill in the form and return it to the school.

Note: If you do not want your child to participate in this survey, please complete this form and return to your child’s school. You do not need to return this form if you would like for your child to participate.
