Only one week to go until our Christmas Craft Fayre at Ysgol Bae Baglan. Save the date and join us for a magical festive evening on Thursday 4th December from 4pm until 7pm. You can look forward to a wonderful variety of local arts and crafts, homemade cakes and treats, plus plenty of unique goodies that are perfect for a spot of seasonal shopping. Coffi Brawd will be serving hot drinks and Goggis Cuisine will be on site with delicious curries and sundries to keep everyone warm and happy while browsing.

We also have a festive photobooth where you and your loved ones can capture a family portrait for the Christmas season. Our talented pupils will be performing throughout the event to help create the perfect festive atmosphere.

Free entry and everyone is welcome. Come along, enjoy the celebrations, and support our school community as we begin the countdown to Christmas.

Congratulations to our Year 7 Football Team for their 4-2 win against Ysgol Sant Joseph in the Neath Port Talbot Schools League today. The team played very well against strong opponents and good luck to them in their next league game against Ysgol Bro Dur tomorrow. Many thanks to Mr Gorvett for leading the team today.

Gwyl pel-droed ffantastig yn Ysgol Bae Baglan heddiw ar gyfer timau lwyddyn 6 ar draws y clwstwr. Roedd y tywydd yn wych ac roedd y chwarae yn ardderchog gyda llawer o sgiliau, goliau rhagorol ac roedd pawb yn creu ffrindiau newydd. Llongyfarchaidau i bawb sydd wedi chwarae ac yn enwedig i Ysgol Blaenbaglan (2il safle) a’r enillwyr Ysgol Baglan.

A fantastic football festival at Ysgol Bae Baglan today for year 6 teams across the cluster. The weather was great and the play was excellent with lots of skills, excellent goals and everyone making new friends. Congratulations to all who took part today with special mention to our runners up Ysgol Blaenbaglan and the winners Ysgol Baglan.

It was lovely to welcome the Ysgol Cwm Brombil Year 7 netball teams to school this afternoon. 2 great games and lots of fun as well.

Mi gafodd blwyddyn 9 amser arbenning ar eu taith yng Ngwersyll Yr Urdd Pentre Ifan Sir Benfro. Mwynheuon llawer o weithgareddau er mwyn ymarfer eu sgiliau daearyddiaeth a Chymraeg. Diolch yn fawr i mr Grounds a Mr Daniels am ddapraru’r gyfle bendigedig yma iddynt.

Year 9 had a wonderful time on their trip to the Pentre Ifan Urdd Camp in Pembrokeshire. They enjoyed a wide range of activities with a view to to practising their geography and Welsh language skills. Many thanks to Mr Grounds and Mr Daniels for providing them with this wonderful opportunity.

Rydym yn falch iawn i gyhoeddi ein bod ni wedi derbyn Tystysgrif Rhaglen Dysgu Am Awtistiaeth ar ol llawer o waith caled gan ddisgyblion a staff dros y misoedd diweddar. Da iawn wir i Mrs Harris am arwain y prosiect hon ar draws yr ysgol gyfan.

We are very proud to announce that we have received the Learning About Autism Programme Certificate following lots of hard work from staff and pupils over recent months. A massive well done to Mrs Harris for her outstanding work in leading this project across the whole school.

Sincere thanks to the Evans family for sending in this lovely picture of Lawson (Class 7LGL) on his big day as the Welsh Rugby Team Mascot for the game against Argentina on Sunday.

Warmest congratulations to Lawson in Year 7 who was the Welsh Rugby Team masoct for their game against Argentina in the Principality Stadium yesterday.

All certificates have now been delivered to the school and will be available for collection on Tuesday 18^th November.

Da iawn wir i Ethan ac Izzie ym mlwyddyn 8 a oedd yn cynrychioli’r ysgol yng Ngwasanaeth Sul Y Cofio yn Llansdawel heddiw. Darllenont y cerdd “Flanders Fields” yn ystod y Gwasanaeth Eglwys ac wedyn gosodont torch o ran yr ysgol ar safle centoaph Llansawel. Roedd yn hyfryd hefyd i weld disgyblion o’r ysgol yn eu gwisg fel rhan o Cadetiaid Y Mor Llansawel.

Huge well done to Izzie and Ethan in year 8 who represented the school at the Briton Ferry Remembrance Sunday Service today. They read the poem “Flanders Fields” during the Church Service and then laid a wreath on behalf of the school at the Cenotaph Service. It was lovely also to see pupils from the school proudly wearing their uniforms as part of the Briton Ferry Sea Cadets Group.
