Yn ogystal a’n trefniadau yr ysgol am gofnodi VE Day heddiw, mi gaofdd grwp o’n disgyblion y cyfle ardderchog i ymuno a’r dathliadau yng Nghanolfan Siopa Aberafan. Mi roedd ein disgyblion yn fendigedig wrth ddangos parch i’n cyn-filwyr, mi wnaethont cardiau diolch personol iddynt. Profiad gwerthfawr iawn a mwynheuont y cacennau hefyd wrth gwrs.
In addition to our in school arrangements for marking VE Day today, a group of our pupils enjoyed a fabulous opportunity to join the celebrations at Aberafan Shopping Centre. We are very proud of their mature attitudes and understanding of the event. They showed excellent respect to our veterans and had made personal thank you cards to present to a veteran of their choice. A very valuable experience and they really enjoyed the cakes too of course.
