Homework

Homework is an important part of school life and is an integral part of the learning process helping to remove the idea that pupils only learn during school hours. We believe that regular, meaningful homework will help to set high expectations and standards for our pupils. It is set at least once over the fortnightly timetable in nearly all subjects at all levels. It may be writing, reading, revision, research or other types of assignments. Homework encourages self-discipline and personal study and encourages parents and carers to become involved in their child’s work. All homework set will be recorded by the class teacher via the Show My Homework app and as a result you will receive direct notification of this.
