Dug Caeredin Gwobr Arian Blwyddyn 11 DofE Silver Award

A group of Year 11 pupils spent the weekend on their practice expedition for their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The group navigated themselves around the Brecon beacons covering around 20Km across two days and climbed Cadair Fawr (485m). They faced the additional challenge of the weather with some sun, rain and hail all while hiking carrying their full kit packs. At camp pupils demonstrated their campcraft skills and cooked on Trangia’s in between rain showers. The group showed excellent skills in readiness for their qualifying expedition next weekend. Da iawn bawb!

Taith Ffotograffiaeth Llundain a Bryste/Photography Trip to London and Bristol

GCSE Photography Trip: London & Bristol Highlights

Our recent photography adventure was packed with iconic sights, creative exploration, and unforgettable experiences! We began our journey in the heart of London, starting at the majestic Buckingham Palace, before taking a scenic walk through many of the city’s biggest spots, including: Big Ben and across the River Thames. As part of our GCSE Photography coursework, we captured hundreds of stunning images, framing the grandeur of London through our lenses.

As evening arrived, we enjoyed a sunset cable car ride over the Thames, soaking up panoramic views of the city bathed in golden light. The experience ended with a dramatic descent at the O2 Arena, providing even more opportunities for awe-inspiring shots from the sky.

Taith Harry Potter Trip

Mi gafodd disgyblion Blwyddyn 7&8 cyfle arbenning ddoe wrth ymweld a’r Stiwdios Harry Potter yn Llundain. Cawsom nhw amser bendigedig a diolch yn fawr iawn i Mrs Breeze am drefnu’r daith bythgofiadwy i’n disgyblion lwcus iawn.
